Yahoo to sponsor free internet lounges at two hotelsJan 9, 2006 - Linknet Internet News Yahoo to sponsor free internet lounges at two hotels Linknet Internet News - January 9, 2006According to SearchEngineWatch, Yahoo has made a deal with Starwood Hotels to test "internet lounges" in two Sheraton Hotels. The hotels are the Sheraton Boston and the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina. The lounges will be outfitted with workstations as well as places where guests can plug in their laptops. They will also have free broadband and wireless access in the lounges as well as in guest rooms. What is different about this is that it will be sponsored by Yahoo, rather than the hotel itself, and will therefore be "branded" as a Yahoo project. This will likely include a customized Yahoo home page that will be part of the logon process. Linknet Internet News
