GetCarted.com - a Powerful, Easy-to-Use Shopping Cart System

How it works

There are 2 methods available to integrate into and use the GetCarted™ system. Both include the fully featured merchant area including full customisation, customer emails, payment method integration and marketing.

HTML Integration (Simple Integration)

This very simple method allows merchants to connect their website to ours by simply pasting an 'Add to Cart' HTML link next to the product they wish to sell. This can be done as a simple, link, a form, and include product variants.

The product information can be sent in the link or added to the products in the merchant area when it can be then sent by a unique product ID. The HTML link can be easily generated automatically from a facility in the merchant area.

The cart, forms and checkout pages can be made to look exactly like the existing website and the images to be used on the secure pages can be uploaded to the GetCarted™ secure server to ensure the padlock is maintained on the browser.

When an item is added to the cart, the information in the link is sent to the GetCarted™ server. The URL in the browser changes as the GetCarted™ system takes over the sale. From this point on, the pages are secure as the customer is asked for details, shipping and finally payment details. When the sale is complete, after confirmation, the customer is directed to a page the merchant specifies. An email is also sent to the customer.

Shop Generator (Full storefront Integration with own domain name)

The second and more comprehensive and featured method is with a full integration. Within the merchant area the merchant can select a template, colour scheme, information pages and setup categories, sub categories and products.

Every aspect of the website can be managed in the merchant area. Information pages can be edited using an insite HTML editor. Products can be added and edited with image upload, automatic thumbnail generation and individual tax settings if needed.

The merchants own domain name can be used by asking the registrar to create a CNAME record pointing to the domain provided by the GetCarted™ system. This way, when the merchants domain is entered, the GetCarted™ managed shop will appear but maintain the original domain.

Review-of-the-week.com features Product Feature Pages — pages dedicated to descriptions or reviews of  products or websites.  Product Feature pages can include photos and graphics (as long as these are readily available), and can have links pointing back to your (single) site.  Product Feature Pages are linked from at least 5 blogs, a number of  high traffic article and announcement sites.
